Kitty Katastrophe

Kitty Katastrophe, the Elm City’s Nudie Cutie, hails from New Haven, CT. She has been performing for over 10 years and is a graduate of Vivienne VaVoom's School of Burlesque in Denver, CO. Since riding the Pony Express back east, Kitty has performed all over New England, NYC and NJ with Lipgloss Crisis Presents (CT), Dr Sketchy New Haven (CT), Bon Appetit Burlesque (MA), Kitty Nights (NYC), Nurse Bettie (NYC), Rockabilly Burlesque (NYC), Sharkbite Sideshow (NYC), Epic Win Burlesque (NYC), Desultory Theatre Club (CT) and Brick City Burlesque (NJ). Kitty has also been a regular performer at custom and hot rod car show, the Silver City Shakedown. She's pleased as punch to be a regular performer with New Haven's State House Cabaret produced by Lipgloss Crisis. Kitty is also tickled pink to be an organizer of and performer at the Burlesque Cabaret at Viva East in 2017, 2018 and 2019! 

In the past, Kitty has competed in the Boston Burlesque Exposition’s Main Event in 2011 and 2013 and The New York Burlesque Festival’s Star Search in 2011. Kitty was the producer of the weekly show Sunday Sizzle at the 9th Note (formerly Palmeira Brasil) in New Haven, CT and has also co-produced the Boom Boom Revue, Olde School Surf and Burlesque and the New Haven Playbunny club in New Haven, CT.

With Adorable Naughtiness and a touch of Comedy and Class, Kitty entertains with the Pin Up Charm of Bettie Page and Ann Margaret. She’s the Foxy Kitten who’ll leave you Smitten, The Dynamite Darling who’ll leave you calling “Here Kitty Kitty”.

When Kitty is not flinging her clothes off, she can also be seen twirling her spurs as a member of New Haven based Go-Go troupe the Nouveaux Pony Banditos. And on special ocassions, provides vocals to the Surf Rock band Kitty Bandito and the Chaps (Otherwise known as, The Clams).

Aside from Go-Go dancing, singing, and theatre, Kitty's other interests include Trick Roping, Tap dancing, Yoga and Pilates.
