Ciao tutti! Pleased to meet you. I am Alessandro - Rome's Master of Burlesque Ceremonies. I first began organizing and producing burlesque shows in 2006, founding the Academy of Burlesque Art in 2007 where myself and professional stage performers teach the skills of vintage style seduction. I returned burlesque performance to it's proper stage in the elegant, refined theatres of the Café Chantant, Salone Margherita, Teatro Olimpico, Teatro Centrale and the Micca Club. After producing the Rome Burlesque Festival for 12 years, in 2019 I realised my dream of opening an exclusive venue, the Ellington Club, in the cool Pigneto district. My unique theatre gives concerts and vintage shows nightly and offers a stage for our Burlesque Academy students to put their lessons into practice - in fact several of our graduates have now gone on to travel the world as professional performers!
