The Celestial Explosion of Burlesque, Stella Nova is NYC’s resident hip hop burlesque artist, producer, model and actress. She hails straight from the Boogie Down Bronx, she’s got a mix of that Latin heat and her Afro soul. And she’s always ready to bring her (s)ass to the stage.

Stella is the producer of The Nova Experiment, an NYC show collective that explores diversity and expression within burlesque. Her current shows include Uptown Stripdown, an all BIPOC burlesque show. And Time Warp, a nostalgia cabaret and dance party produced in collaboration with Zenon Teavee. She has also produced Popped Pastie Burlesque, a new performer showcase, EthnoGraphic, a POC-centric variety show, and more.
